Who We Are

Empowering Hospitals & ASCs with In-House Anesthesia Solutions

Revive Anesthesia Consulting is a anesthesia provider-owned firm with over 80 years of combined clinical and healthcare leadership experience. We specialize in helping hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) transition to in-house anesthesia, optimize operations, and reduce reliance on third-party management.

Unlike traditional consulting firms—often backed by private equity groups or run by non-clinicians—we focus solely on helping hospitals regain control of their anesthesia services. Many of these firms push outsourcing over true optimization. Our approach is different—we prioritize reducing costs, improving efficiency, and optimizing revenue while fostering a collaborative, high-functioning anesthesia team.

Maximizing Control, Efficiency, and Savings in Anesthesia

How We Charge

Flexible And Predictable Fee Structure That Is Competitive

We recognize that hospitals prefer predictable costs rather than variable, commission-based fees. Our fee structures are designed to be transparent and adaptable:

One-Time, All-Inclusive Fee

Covers in-house consulting, travel costs, and administrative expenses. A predictable budget that you can count on.

ongoing management and support

Ongoing support and consulting for hospitals needing long-term optimization and strategic oversight.

Zero cost upfront consulting options

This is for facilities that have budget constraints but that need the help. We can charge a small percentage of anesthesia collections for a limited period. This allows us to offer zero cost upfront consulting services.

Our professional team

Clay Roush, CRNA

Co-Founder/Managing Partner

Clay Roush, CRNA, brings over a decade of experience in anesthesia care and leadership and 20 years in healthcare. As a long-standing Chief CRNA and Regional Lead CRNA across multiple sites, he has played a pivotal role in anesthesia management and staffing. Clay graduated from Wolford College with a Master’s in Nurse Anesthesia and earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Marshall University in Huntington, WV. With a career in healthcare spanning back to 2004, he has developed extensive expertise in optimizing anesthesia services, workforce management, and clinical leadership. He has overseen a team of more than 120 CRNAs, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and operational efficiency.

Recognizing a growing need in the industry, Clay co-founded Revive Anesthesia Consulting to help hospitals, surgery centers, and anesthesia groups navigate the challenges of anesthesia management. He saw many hospitals struggling—not necessarily needing a complete overhaul of their anesthesia teams or systems, but rather expert guidance and support to improve operations. His passion lies in providing customized solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve patient outcomes without unnecessary disruption. Clay is excited to use his experience to help hospitals optimize their anesthesia services in a way that truly fits their needs.

Beyond his professional responsibilities, Clay is a devoted husband to his wife, Lexxi, whom he married in 2011, and a proud father to their two beautiful children. When he’s not managing anesthesia teams or consulting, he cherishes time with his family, making it his favorite and most fulfilling pastime. His dedication to both his profession and personal life reflects his commitment to excellence in all aspects of his career.

Over the years, he has honed his expertise in clinical anesthesia, operational efficiency, and quality improvement, including completing Six Sigma and LifeWings training for enhanced patient safety and workflow optimization.

As both a Clinical Site Director and Chief of Anesthesia, Bryan has been instrumental in developing and implementing anesthesia protocols for same-day total joint procedures, improving patient outcomes and streamlining perioperative care. His leadership in these roles has contributed to safer, more efficient surgical experiences for both patients and providers.

Recognizing the increasing demand for expert anesthesia consulting, Bryan joined Revive Anesthesia Consulting to help hospitals and surgical centers enhance patient safety, optimize anesthesia workflows, and improve operational efficiency. He understands that many facilities don’t need a complete overhaul, but rather strategic solutions tailored to their unique needs. With a focus on industry best practices and regulatory compliance, Bryan provides customized guidance that helps anesthesia teams function at their best.
